Mont Saint-Sauveur is launching its 2004-2005 ski season today!
Saint-Sauveur, Tuesday November 9, 2004 : – True to its reputation, Mont Saint-Sauveur is once again this year the first Quebec ski hill to open its doors for the 2004-2005 ski season. As early as noon today, snow sports lovers will be able to tackle the Nordique trail and rush down their first slope of the season.
Thanks to an ideal combination of cold weather and humidity, the Mont Saint-Sauveur snow guns were started around 4 p.m. yesterday and are running at full capacity since. The abundance of snow resulting from this operation allows us to kick off the ski season today. Snow cats are already grooming the trail since early this morning in order to ensure our skiers and snowboarders the best possible conditions.
From noon to 4 p.m. today, the triple chair lift will be operational and the Nordique trail will be ready to welcome its first skiers of the season. Please, take note that tomorrow, November 10 2004, a second trail will also be set up and ready to welcome more skiers, that is the Côte 70 Ouest trail. Tomorrow’s opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and evening ski is scheduled for this weekend.
Skiers and snowboarders… Mont Saint-Sauveur awaits you today!
