§ Troubleshoot production database related issues

§ Create and maintain LINUX and Perl scripts required to create and update database schemas used by the applications.

§ Database design and related applications performance optimization.

§ Conduct performance analysis and audits.

§ Perform database configuration and tuning.

§ Database capacity planning

§ Ensure proper monitoring of production server

§ Document emergency procedure

§ Operation’s representative with engineering team

§ Part of 24/7 DBA level 2 support team
